Swasthavritta deals with first and prime motto of ayurveda i.e. “ Swasthasya swaasthaya Rakshanam “. This subject gives the knowledge of personal hygiene and public health, Yoga, Naturopathy, Health policies, etc.
Swasthavritta is the branch of Ayurveda which deals with prevention of diseases through healthy life style and use of Rasayana. The purview of this department includes the activities like community health, surveys, health camps in the village areas, health promotion and prevention of the diseases, along with the U.G teaching.
