For admission to UG - BAMS Course :
Passing marks for eligibility in admission to UG BAMS courses should be as per the ASU&H-UG regulations and should be followed strictly. The details qualifications for different categories are as follows :
i. Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks IN PUC/equivalent taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of general category and 40% Marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
ii. In respect of persons with disability as specified under the Right of Person with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination are as follows: a) In Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case of general category. (For PwD candidates only) b) 40% in the case of the Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. (for PwD candidates only).
iii. No candidate will be admitted to UG BAMS Degree Course unless he/she has attained the age of seventeen (17) years on or before the 31st December of the year of his/her admission in the first year of the course. Further, there is no upper age limit for admission to BAMS-UG course.
iv. In order to be eligible for admission to an UG-BAMS course, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the ‘National Eligibility Entrance Test for UG-BAMS course’ held for the academic year of applying for admission: Provided that in respect of-
- (A) Candidates belonging to the Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be at the 40th percentile (Only for karnataka state candidates).
- (B) Candidates with benchmark disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile in the case of the General category and 40th percentile in the case of the Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Other Backward Classes.( as per the applicable regulations following by the NCISM/State university).
CERTIFICATES REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
- 10th OR SSLC Marks card.
- PUC OR 10+2 OR HSC Marks card.
- B.Sc. Marks card (if applicable).
- SC/ST/CATEGORY-I/2A/2B/3A/3B/OBC Caste/Claim certificates (if applicable).
- Physical fitness certificate.
- Conduct & Character certificate from the institution last studied.
- Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied.
- Migration certificate (Not applicable to Karnataka students).
- Eligibility certificate from RGUHS. (Not applicable to Karnataka students).
- Income certificate (If applicable).
- NEET SCORE SHEET.
